The beginnings of Avatar.

There was a call from the state for new providers to offer services to the 250 people remaining at the Ladd Center. In response to this, Kathy Ellis submitted a proposal and became a certified provider. Three residents from the Ladd Center and three from family homes moved into an Avatar group home, then under the auspices of Alternatives, Inc.
