Spread the Word to End the Word

✗ This was the year to Spread the Word to End the Word and in September, we celebrated the name change of the Department of Mental Health Retardation and Hospitals (MHRH) to the Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH).

✗ Avatar was awarded a grant to participate in the Advocacy, Collaboration & Training (ACT) initiative to end violence against women with disabilities.
